Why Self-Hosted Digital Asset Custody Matters?
Digital asset custody is fundamentally about trust. Whether you're managing cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, or tokenized assets, having full control and transparency over your custody infrastructure is critical.. While enterprise solutions like Fireblocks, BitGo, and Cobo are reliable, they operate as black boxes, you never truly know how they work internally. On top of that, their proprietary systems create vendor lock-in, and as your transaction volume and wallet count grow, so do the costs.
That’s why we’re introducing Fystack Ignite, a simple one-command shell script that helps teams launch a self-hosted digital asset custody platform with one command line. It’s designed for developers who want hands-on experience with MPC wallets and enterprise-grade crypto custody without vendor lock-in.
Why this is necessary?
- Understand the Fystack architecture hands-on with all core components running
- Set up your local development environment quickly without manual service configuration
- Test and explore MPC wallet features on testnet before production deployment
- Evaluate a self-hosted custodial solution before deploying to production infrastructure
